As you may well know Duke Nukem Forever came out this month. Many of us have been waiting up to ten years or more for this release. Being a giant fan of niche games am not one to tell you to trust corporate site reviews ,as many of the games I like get mediocre reviews. However when a game that just came out, a FPS to boot which always get bloated reviews, has the low averages as Duke does on Metacritic and Gamerankings then you have to take a step back and with it a long hard look. Your nostalgic past is great, believe me I revel in it. Yet, this may be one of those times where nostalgia should stay just that, in the past. So before you go out to purchase this game you might want to ask yourself, should you be betting on Duke? Especially when Duke is betting on Laura Croft?
